Cheers or Jeers: 1992 GMC Typhoon

This truck has been sitting for 11 years and will need a detail to the paint and some touch up. The interior is a 9 out of 10, no tears or damage. This is an extremely rare truck. Jim Stokes built three, 2 Syclones and 1 Typhoon. There was over $100,000 invested in the motor, transmission and drive train when this truck was built in 1992. I also have the original engine that is available to the buyer at an additional cost.

Has a 4.9L intercooled Turbocharged Busch Grand National motor ($45,000) has replaced the original Typhoon motor. Up to 30 lbs. of boost. Low 10's in the quarter mile. 700HP with 850 ft-lbs. of torque. KB switch cluster mounted on top of the cup holders. KB J&S detonation control. Cone air filter in the stock battery location. Large intercooler (ATR or Conley?). Large cooler mounted in front of radiator. MSD Ignition. KB headers and 3" downpipe. Fuel pressure gage mounted directly on fuel rail. No cat. Stock tail pipe. Gold plated "GMC" emblems on front grille. Gold (24-K) side and rear decals. Billet pulleys. Most mounting bolts are stainless steel. New Cooper tires. Louvers on both side of hood.
