CYPRESS, CA--Dec. 1, 2011: Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) today reported November 2011 sales of 3,735 units, down 13 percent from November 2010. Mitsubishi's year-to-date sales remain more than 45 percent ahead of January through November sales last year. This marks Mitsubishi's highest sales total since 2008 for the first eleven months of the year.

November sales details:

  • Mitsubishi sales in the first 11 months of 2011 have already exceeded sales for the entire calendar year 2010.
  • Sales of Mitsubishi vehicles for calendar-year-to-date 2011 are at 73,988 units, a 45.6% increase over CYTD 2010 (50,809) and also Mitsubishi's highest January through November sales total for three years.
  • The Outlander Sport model had another strong showing in November with 1,133 units sold, an increase of 64.7% compared to November 2010.
  • The all-new, all-electric Mitsubishi i began shipping to West Coast dealers in November. The first retail sales of the vehicle will begin in December.
