I'm ready for some snow! Who's ready? :)

Ugh. Take ours, we've had it for over a month now and it's only 'polite' to let someone else have a turn.

I'll gladly put any that I get into an insulated box and dens it to you. I want nothing to do with the stuff anymore.

Snow would be nice..had some up in the high country, but only rain today here in the valley of the sun...

"Ski season"? Does that have something to do with Polish ppl?

Do you know why Polish people have "ski" at the end of their last name?

Because they can't spell toboggan!!!

(and before you ask, yes, I'm a card carryin' "ski")

I'd like to order up some snow (about 4-5") for December 24 to blanket all of southern New Jersey, just in time for Christmas :smilewide:

No thanks. Bitter cold and dry works for me enough as "winter". Now living in Philly hills, don't feel like sliding up or down any of them.

Toot toot. Keep it cold. And then we'll talk about spring in a few :AH-HA:

I'll probably make a trek up to one of AZ's ski resorts for a weekend or two this winter, mostly just to get away...but I doubt if I'll hit the slopes--too out of shape for that currently. :(

I have to dig some fence post holes.... if the ground doesn't start seriously freezing by the time the permit comes thru. >:[

I'd like to to stay above freezing at night for another 3-4 weeks.... and 55 during the days would be nice, too.

We had record snowfall last January (11"). Paralyzed everything since no one here in GA seems to know how to drive in snow... driving 25 under on completely plowed roads is evidence of that. :smilewide:

Chances are there won't be snow like that again this winter.

I'll take the snow, but not the cold.

Hey ... any other year, I'd be saying to keep the snow away for a while yet (at least until Christmas Eve or so), but since I had to put my MCs away for the winter before my open heart surgery this year in early November ... I want snow and I want it NOW. Not a small 2" like we got overnight (though, you would think we got 15-20", given the accidents around.....no further comment, YET), but 10" or so would be nice.....

*sighs*

We've only had flurries here so far nothings stuck, rather odd for us

Odd for us indeed, 67 IMP.

Local weatherman said this morning we have a slight chance for a white Xmas. I hope he's not playing with me.

He sounded like Barry White when he said it. Normally he sounds like Sponge Bob.

Rain the rest of the week with the slightest chance of snow on Christmas

  • 2 weeks later...

First real snow , just a lil more than a dusting but it won't break freezing for two days then back to the 50's by end of the week.
