December 13, 201114 yr If you were thinking about purchasing a new Fisker Karma, you might want to hear this. Fisker has announced they will be increasing prices on the Karma Plug-In hybrid sedan by 6%. That means the base Karma EcoStandard model will now have a sticker price of $102,000; an increase of $6,150. The high-end EcoChic model will see a $10,000 increase to $116,000. However, if you have put down a $5,000 deposit on the Karma, you're in luck. Fisker says for those who put a deposit down can purchase the Karma at the lower price until January 15. This isn't the first time the Karma has seen it's price go up. Back in 2008, Fisker projected the Karma to start at $80,000. However, when the Karma finally went into production this year, the price jumped to $96,850. Source: Inside Line View full article
December 13, 201114 yr I was just reading that as of a week or so ago, exactly zero had been delivered. Imagine being in production, and effecting a price hike before car #0001 is even in customer #0001's hands.
December 15, 201114 yr Ridiculous. Wouldn't be so bad if this car was as awesome as the hype. You're essentially paying AMG S-class money for a car that can get walked by an M3 (and perhaps even a 335i), and can't go as far as either. Edited December 15, 201114 yr by Turbojett
