December 30, 201114 yr Man IDK but the crank start handle is long reaching the engine under the seat. The flex in that thing must be tremendous. The thinking in those days! Maybe a kick starter operated from the driving position so as not to be run over would've worked
December 30, 201114 yr I've seen numerous crank holes for under-seat engines on the side panel... but a steel rod should not flex all that much here, IMO. It's certainly possible to have it sleeved... Year must be '07.
