1967 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. ONLY YEAR FOR THE CONVERTIBLE!

The 1967 model year was significant for the Grand Prix—for a variety of reasons. The Grand Prix got a completely new look from the belt-line down, and, for the only time, a production convertible was offered of which just 5,856 were built! What's more, the engine lineup saw several changes as well.

While the 1967 again shared the same basic body as the Catalina, it looked significantly different. Up front, the Catalina's stacked headlight treatment was passed up for the Grand Prix. The GP and the Catalina utilized the same front bumper, but when used on the GP, it housed both disappearing headlights and headlight doors with integral grille.

The Grand Prix you see here is in exceptional condition. It features the matching numbers 350HP Pontiac 400, glossy red paint, a beautiful interior and convertible top, and a great sounding exhaust. Recent service work includes all new vacuum lines, a full tune up with new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel pump and filters etc. $1,400 was invested in new valve cover and oil pan gaskets, exhaust and intake manifold gaskets, power steering pump and hoses. The factory vacuum guage works! The car rides on authentic PONTIAC wire wheels that are in excellent condition. The odometer shows just 23,500 miles but we have no way to verify it. We have a copy of the Pontiac Billing History Sheet. This is a rare car that is a pleasure to drive and is an absolute hit at EVERY car show!

Love it just missing the right shifter, engine is fine though more power wouldn't be kicked. The Olds looks to be a Cutty & I prefer senior cars over juniors with exceptions(2dr Chevelle wagons). I have a soft spot for F/S GP's and 2+2's

No way- Pontiac over Olds every day! Just look at that GTO (thru the windshield) vs. the Cutlass: Fwoom! BaBAM!

Then up the game by going to the GP and it's game over! ;):D

I swear; there must be 90% of the '67 GP converts left- they are everywhere!

And every seller plays up the "great significance" of the '67 GP, like it was some sort of GP standout "PLUS!!!" it's a convert.

Enough already with the wrinkled canvas roof.

One of my favorite GM cars of all time... and one I actually own. Unfortunately, its nowhere near that condition.

Always liked the low grille w/ hideaway headlights on the '67 GP--along with the nifty slotted turn indicators up above.

I thought the full sized '67 Pontiacs were gorgeous cars. Would love to find a '67 Executive wagon in nice shape.

Cheers. Looks to be in good condition and it isn't that pricey for a classic car. And it has an intimidating front end that you don't see anymore in the world of aerodynamics and pedestrian safety.

I don't really have any available, except perhaps the originals the previous owner sent me... If I come across them, I'll post 'em.

I like the '62, '63, '68 & '69 GPs, however the '62 & '68 are my favorites from the '60s editions.

Saw this beautiful '68 GP in November at the all-Pontiac show at ATCO Raceway:

So you mean he wanted a '68 GP coupe... No convertibles made in ANY year other than '67.

While I like the '68 fullsizers, I really don't care for the '68 GPs...

I like the unique roofline and rear end on the '68s...would look better w/o the skirts, though. My favorite GPs are probably the angular and sharp-edged '71-72s.
