I'm half tempted to buy this just to make a summer driver out of it. If you don't understand what a monumental find this is, consider that Minnesota rivals Ohio for sheer amount of salt dumped on roads. Now consider what 1970's Mopar's were like in terms of corsion resistance and the fact this car made it all the way to 80K miles in Minnesota without dissovling like an alka-seltzer. This thing belongs in a museum!

For $500, how could you go wrong with a slant six and a manual. Doesn't get much more basic or bulletproof.

I wouldn't buy it. The engine fell over!

HA ha(Simpsons kid) but really that is a great find only better if it were a coupe or wagon. All the cop suspension should fit, Dayton's fleet of them handled great.

The serious corrosion problems where all early on... 1976/77. By '78, IIRC, Chrysler had completely switched to using galvanized steel for the problem areas.

I never warmed up to the later taillights on these... they looked very afterthough to me.

BTW: Unless its dirt cheap, jeers. These in 4 door format still have no value, and 80K is nowhere near low mileage.
