Cheers or Jeers: 80,000 mile 1948 Oldsmobile Deluxe Wagon

This is a very rare Olds Woodie Wagon sporting just over 80K ACTUAL MILES. Certainly you won't see one of these offered up for sale very often! Total production for these gems was only 2,707 total units with even fewer numbers produced as a Deluxe with the "Straight 8" cylinder engine version. In fact, prior discussions with the current owner and a top level "National Woodie Club" insider note that only 15 are known remaining and he has never seen an original in this good un-restored condition... This is what is known as a "TRUE SURVIVOR" in strikingly well preserved condition...

Known preservation items include complete engine rebuild, new wiring, rebuilt suspension, water pump, starter, generator, carburetor, rebuilt original radiator. Come with original books and color charts. This honey drives just wonderful with no issues... Equipment See Above Known Facts

Sporting what is known to be 80,402 actual miles and it is believed that the current owner is the 4th and you will be the 5th. The interior seating surfaces, door panels, rubber floor mat and frt/rear area carpet are un-restored with normal age stains and driver heel wear in front carpet under mats. The exterior paint appears in many areas thru-out the car with expected blending/minor repairs/nicks and slight popping in rear fender edges near door and leading up to hood area (all common/normal for age). There are no known and/or existing panel that appears to have any need for replacement...

Cool..don't think I've ever seen a '40s Olds wagon in person.
