April 3, 201213 yr Cheers or Jeers: Cummins Powered 1942 Dodge Power Wagon WC-63 6x6 Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item2c6417401c Custom 1942 Dodge Power Wagon 6x6 Turbo-Diesel Dump Truck. This complete restoration and custom creation is offered by Legacy Classic Trucks in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Legacy build this truck by using the frame of a 1942 military Dodge 6x6 troop transport and adding a Civilian Power Wagon Cab and Meyer Dump Bed. Power is put to all six 38.5" Michelin tires via a 3.9 Liter Cummins 4BT turbo-diesel and a 4-speed manual transmission. It is painted flat Moss Green with Flat Black fender. The fenders and bumper were left a little rough, as this truck was meant to be used hard in rugged terrain. She cruises at 55mph and stops well with Dual Circuit Power Brakes. The 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly. It has much needed power steering, making easy work of rough trails, rocks, and bogs. Custom 32 gallon fuel tank. Heat, defrost, electric wipers. Classic Instrument gauges, with Autometer Boost and EGT. This truck is a real beast: Noisy engine, rattles, unbalanced bead-locked wheels, and totally unstoppable. We have used it to haul 2 ton loads of scrap iron with ease. The dump bed works perfectly and can hold a large volume of fill. Not a daily driver by any means, but a shot of pure Testosterone every-time you turn the key. Prior to end of auction this truck will receive the winch cable, PTO driveshaft, headliner, and wipers. Further customization is available, for example: CB radio, road-friendly wheels, mud flaps, carpet and sound deadening.
April 3, 201213 yr At first glance, my gut said Jeers, but then after reading about the truck and what is there, it really is a true work horse that has had allot of love to get it back to where it is and what it can do. For the price you will not find another truck that can do what this one can do. Cheers for a reasonable Beast of a Power Wagon in true 6x6x6 fashion!
