But, when the next Scirocco comes around, we could be getting it. VW Group of America's CEO, Jonathan Browning told Automotive News that he is lobbying to bring the Scirocco here. "That's a piece of the lineup that I would dearly love to see here." Browning explained that when current Scirocco was launched in 2008, the financial crisis was in full swing and Volkswagen saw there would be too much risk with launching it in the U.S. at the time. April 9, 201213 yr Sharp looking little 2 door. I remember the old Scirocco that was here in the US was very popular. I am sure there are some that would love to get this car here and then sup it up. The Diesel Alltrack would be a smart move to have here also since VW has a pretty good name for diesel cars.
April 10, 201213 yr The current Scirocco would look better with more rear window slope, IMO...it looks too much like a squished Golf in profile...
