April 12, 201213 yr Cheers or Jeers: 1948 Buick Super Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item20c4a45154 This 1948 Buick Super has been in our family since 1948. It was driven for 20 years or so, and then stored in the mountains in Ovando, Montana until 2007, when we decided to unbox it and have it restored professionally. We brought the Buick to Street Rod Visions, Inc in Lynnwood, Washington. Over the course of 2 years, SRV restored and turned this Buick into a beautiful hot rod. We invested over $250,000.00 into this car, and we have all the receipts. Car sits in the garage all year round, except for 2-3 cars shows that we have entered into locally - and it won first place at all of them. If you're looking for a show winner and car that stands out, then look no further. The car is known as the "48 Harry" because it was owned by Harry Livesey #1, and and now it's owned by Harry Livesey #3 and #4. It's also been known as the "Houdini." We'll also include our enclosed trailer with the sale of the car, and all items related to the car (custom car show stanchions, chains, pictures, etc). Car has never seen rain, snow or salt. Clear title, and in hand. No wrecks, no stories. Modifications: 01. Frenched Inverted Headlights 02. Grill Recessed 2 inches 03. Front Roll Pan 04. Custom Front Bumpers 05.
