GMTruckguy noticed in one of the threads that this was my favorite matchbox car when I was a kid and that it had long since been lost. He spotted it at a swap meet and snagged it for me as a gift. He did this a few months ago, but with all of my travels, I haven't been home to take a picture and thank him properly.

It was a very small token of my appreciation (and you've been kind to me in the past too, let that be known!). Actually, I've received items from posters here and have tried to do my part in paying it forward. I think about a lot of the posters here when I'm at car & toy shows... just wish I had the funds to send stuff more often.

Awesome Matchbox, I wish I still had my whole collection which was huge and perfect condition. But then out of love I gave it to my Nephew who enjoyed them but destroyed them.

Very cool. I think I have mine from when I was a kid loose in one of those car carrying cases. I was fond of this one and the '67 Camaro in red with whiet & yellow flame graphics.
