Cheers or Jeers: 22,000 Mile 1996 Buick Roadmaster

1996 Buick RoadMaster Wagon Collector Edition with only 22,350 original miles. This could be the lowest mile 96 Buick wagon in existence.

It has the Corvette-based 350 Chevy LT1 V8 that delivers tons of power and acceleration - and still gets 24 mpg. Has the heavy duty cooling, transmission cooler, and Posi-Trac rear end. This is a great driving car that is loaded up with options and everything works as it should.

This was a one-owner South Carolina car purchased new and owned by a woman in South Carolina who only used it occasionally, since she owned many other vehicles.

Never driven in salt or northern winters - as can be seen by how clean and nice it is underneath and under the hood.

I like these, would be nice if they used the Buick Roadmaster front clip

The black insert on the side moldings on these cars never would stay glued to the stainless part due to temperature variations. I can clearly see these have been re-glued, you can see the shrinkage at the ends. That's the only problem I ever saw with any regularity with these cars/tanks.

This one is gorgeous, and nixes the worry of keeping the vinyl woodgrain and subsequent edge moldings fresh.

This is the last Buick ever built that I really loved.

Sweet...neat to see one w/ cloth and w/o woodgrain.

I say jeers to this. The Roadmaster (due to style and mainly the brand name) was the least cool of the Impala SS, Roadmaster and Fleetwood trio. And Blue on blue cloth is very senior citizen in Florida. Had this been a black or white sedan with the tan leather, I'd probably say cheers, but not to the wagon. If you want a B-body Impala SS or Fleetwood are the way to go.
