Anyone heard from him lately? Noticed a couple of things that have me worried... and he's not answering voicemails.

Not for several days.

He posted about his Caprice on FB, and that's the most recent I know of.

His facebook profile is gone.

So I just found out - not good.

He was last on the Monte Carlo forum on the 14th.

His last activity here was May 13th at 10:17pm

Just noticed that as well. I hope everything is okay...

anyone in the Chicago area that might be able to check in on him?

I checked two other forums where he is a regular - nothing since the 13th.

His hometown is Elgin.

Hopefully he's just out there cruising in his MC's before he loses his storage space. Maybe even going as far as taking them out on Route 66.

Cause for concern is that he's faced nothing but bad news lately... the heart surgery, the loss of his employment, and the recent news of the loss of his storage space leading to him declaring that he will need to sell off his Monte Carlo collection.

Please, if anyone is close enough to where he lives, can you stop by and check in?

Yeah I'm really concerned to hear this all too. I think it's the deletion of the Facebook account that concerns me the most though. I hope he's alright.

I've heard from Cort. He is safe, but asks me not to expand further.

I received an email from Cort. Said he'll be back sometime, but it was definitely good to get a response from him.

I wish there was a way we could help him with his Monte Carlo storage issue (this is nothing that we weren't already privy too). Anyone have any ideas? He really wants to keep his collection together.

I have some driveway space. When my daughter goes away to college next year and ;I can move part of my wood shop to my basement, I will have another indoor stall to store a car in as well.

I may have some garage space in the fall if things go as hoped

For now anyway I have a free space in the driveway.

I should have 2 free places in the back driveway once my sister unloads her Benzes...then I can store the Jeep back there until I get out of AZ...

Well, good....I'm gald hes okay. Just seems odd (slightly irrsponsible) to stop all communication like that.

I had my fears since he's been in and out of hospitals for as long as we've all known him. (8+ years)

If he has come here as a guest to visit, I am sure he'd be happy knowing that we've all been worried about him. He said he needs some "offline" time to get his affairs in order, and I know we can all understand what that feels like (everyone needs a break sometime).

The internet is a colossal time waster, so getting away from it on occasion is probably good practice for everyone.
