I grew up with a Carvel Ice Cream store in my town that we went to a lot.... don't see many around though their ice cream cakes are sold in many grocery stores (Acme, Wegman's, Shop-Rite). Was surprised to see a HW's series in Carvel's name at Wal-Mart last night.

They had hard ice cream that they hand scooped, but I doubt 31 flavors. They were known for their novelty sundae's and "Fudgy the Whale" ice cream cakes.
