June 30, 201213 yr .....well, it's either off of a Camaro or Firebird. My Chevy buddy tells me the spoilers were of different angles/heights- he believes this is Camaro, but doesn't recognize the stripes. I've seen a pic of striping similar on a Camaro, tho it had 'Rallye Sport' above it (perhaps removed here?) Anyone recognize which this belongs to? I want to sell it, need to target the right motorheads. I realize the decklid itself is interchangable. Only thing stamped on it is 'T39'.
June 30, 201213 yr Camaro Rally Sport. Those are not Pontiac stripes. That's my story. Edited June 30, 201213 yr by ocnblu

July 3, 201213 yr Author I was under the impression that '70-81's were the same decklid, is that incorrect?
July 3, 201213 yr I was under the impression that '70-81's were the same decklid, is that incorrect? Most likely, but some small differences probably exist (spoiler holes, locking mechanism, etc.) EDIT: The only time a major difference could have occurred was when they went from the small backlight (70-73) to the big wrap-around version ('74-81). I don't think the change affected the decklid, but it is possible. Edited July 3, 201213 yr by Camino LS6

July 3, 201213 yr Shoot, I have my Mitchell book, let me check it once. EDIT: Well, my book covers Camaro from '73-'77, and the part number remained the same for those years, pn 9819030. Edited July 3, 201213 yr by ocnblu
