July 6, 201213 yr I've always liked these cars, but the older I get, the more I like them. A quick pic for the day....
July 6, 201213 yr freakin awesome. there used to be a guy around town that had a corviar yenko stinger clone he drove on a weekly basis. it flat sounded nasty for what it was.
July 6, 201213 yr SWEET, That is a freakin awesome car. My grandpa had a corvair, factory stock in mint condition, he bought it, drove it for a couple hundred miles and then kept it stored. I was supposed to get it, but in his 90's he decided to sell it to a collector for the money to support himself. Cannot blame him. It was a light blue.
July 11, 201213 yr Author Now that I think about it, I think I saw this very car race at the Vintage races at Mid Ohio a few years ago...I could be wrong though...
July 11, 201213 yr Design is just so damned spot-on. It's only the 'romance' that keeps it from being mentioned along with the Corvette & Riviera when Mitchell's portfolio is talked about.
