freakin awesome. there used to be a guy around town that had a corviar yenko stinger clone he drove on a weekly basis. it flat sounded nasty for what it was.

SWEET, That is a freakin awesome car. My grandpa had a corvair, factory stock in mint condition, he bought it, drove it for a couple hundred miles and then kept it stored. I was supposed to get it, but in his 90's he decided to sell it to a collector for the money to support himself. Cannot blame him.

It was a light blue.

Now that I think about it, I think I saw this very car race at the Vintage races at Mid Ohio a few years ago...I could be wrong though...

Design is just so damned spot-on. It's only the 'romance' that keeps it from being mentioned along with the Corvette & Riviera when Mitchell's portfolio is talked about.
