July 8, 201213 yr http://www.kare11.com/news/article/982267/396/State-Trooper-pulls-over-driver-of-unsafe-Ford-Pinto Seems as though he had a lawnmower style gas can on the passenger seat, with a rubber fuel line feeding into the motor via the outside of the car... Pretty much looks a lot like what rolls around on Ohio highways, actually... ...although it's usually the Import guys going for the moar lower look...and its probably safer this way than when it came from Ford. ...and notice the lack of a floor board below the passenger seat where the gas can sits...
July 9, 201213 yr I saw that on Jalopnik. How the hell could that thing be roadworthy, much less driveable on the freeway?! Like a bomb waiting to go off...I mean moreso than any other Pinto. Edited July 9, 201213 yr by Turbojett
July 9, 201213 yr Sick and twisted..what kind of mental illness would cause someone to even imagine driving something that worn out..
July 9, 201213 yr WOW, the floor board under the driver is also rusted out. You have to be mental to drive something like this. No wonder everything is rust in that state. I would like to hear the interesting story!!! Edited July 9, 201213 yr by dfelt
July 13, 201213 yr Where is the sense of adventure? Things like this are awesom. I would totally drive that around. I dorve a wwII jeep that was in much worse condition and it was fine. Things are always more structually sound than people think they are.
