Picked up a set I dont have tonight...

I remember when Kmart brought that out as an exclusive in 1996. Though I am a big Pontiac and Hot Wheels fan, I passed on it as I thought the price was too high for 3 HW cars ($15?). I of course regretted it not to much after, but couldn't find them on the shelves anymore. Toy shows years later proved dealers wanted much more, so I continued my search. My local Kmart closed about 4 years ago and I got lucky and found it on final clearance sale for $5!! The box has more shelf wear than I'd like, but the cars are in great shape. Congrats on the find!!

Ah, shelf wear. I'm imagining all the wide eyes and small hands, dreaming, begging mom or dad.

Got this one for $6. I remember it going to $45 at one time. I will have to check ebay and see if any have sold lately and for how much just to satisfy curiosity.

I got one of these a few years ago just for the Fiero. I did not pay much.

I too have seen these go for too much money on e bay.
