I didn't realize this until I was wandering the lot at "my" dealer, but you can buy a brand new 2013 Grand Caravan for under $21k MSRP. How can that be beat as a family hauler?

Heck, it would make a fantastic weekend camper, too. Is it still embarrassing to be seen in a minivan?

Nah; mercedees built 'em, so it must be completely cool now! :P

Yup, I'm just sayin', the way things are in this country right now, this is a godsend for American families, I can't think of a better value in a family vehicle.

Vans are amazingly practical. It's too bad the socer mom stigma kind of killed them. As if the crossovers that soccer moms drive are so much cooler.

IMHO, I think a minivan is cooler than a CUV... but I'd never buy one as long as a real van or wagon was around.

It's the Dodge Grand Caravan American Value Package, and it comes with some good stuff for very little money. $20,995.

Sounds like a great deal. For $20K, you could also get a CPO '08 Odyssey EX with a few more goodies (tinted windows, alloys, power doors, etc.)

Woah, Dodge charges $995 for destination, so that's becomes $21,990. But then I'm sure there are incentives to offset that.
