The images are reportedly from the Forester's Japanese market brochure. The Forester's exterior is now in line with the rest of the Subaru lineup thanks to a new front end , sleeker taillights, and a new sculpted hatch. The interior is lifted form the new Impreza. Under the new skin lies a new platform from the new Impreza. Dimension wise, the Forester has grown in most areas, while retaining a 103 in. wheelbase. Power for the Japanese market Forester will come in the form of 2.0L boxer-four producing 146 HP and a 2.0L turbo boxer-four producing 276 HP. As for the North American market, the engine could be the 2.5L boxer-four producing 173 HP. September 25, 201213 yr Probably the best looking version of the forester from these pictures. Still a station wagon and still seems small to me. The Subaru crowd will like it though.
September 25, 201213 yr I like it. It's a huge improvement over the existing Forester, and not as choppy looking as the Impreza.
