There's a 2004 Colorado LS regular cab 4X4 with 143k and a five cylinder for sale at a local well-established used car dealer. Asking $7995. What do you guys think? Looks clean from here:

Maybe it's time to get off my merry-go-round of new vehicles. Especially since I am looking for work... again.

Asking price, I'm sure there is some wiggle room. Maybe I'll go up there and look at it tomorrow. NADA says it's worth $7875 in my zipcode. Edmunds says it's worth $5777. KBB says $7949.

oh... and you're job hunting again?

Yeah, what's that about? Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do!!

I still think used vehicle prices are way too crazy for the mileage most of these things have. A classified ad in my local newspaper running the past two weeks has a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SLE with 160k for $4,000!! Seems way too high of a price for a 12 year old car with that kind of mileage.

Ocn please expand, what happened with the job?

Price on it is way too high, that mileage on that truck should be in the $5k range.

Maybe it's time to get off my merry-go-round of new vehicles. Especially since I am looking for work... again.

Wow, what happened?
