The thread with ideas on how to fix the Malibu. A coupler sketches coming up. Or maybe this is a 'what they should have done' thread.

Extra inch of legroom by changin the front seatback design; 2014 Implala-inspired front end (i.e. new bumper and hood). Personally I'd change the dash board as well, as I don't really like it, but I don't think GM will go for that.

Rear-wheel drive, 4 and six cylinder power on regular versions, Eco with diesel power, available coupe, convertible, sedan, wagon and utility coupe. Manual transmission available on base, 2.5 Sport and Eco models. No electrification in sight. And a bigger back seat, but not big enough to encroach on Impala territory, keep Malibu and Impala competitive in their classes, but not against each other.

excuse the crudity of this. just taking the basic lines and tweaking.... the car's proportions are out of whack, just trying to make some sense with it...

i think the center stack oddly enough is pretty good, as is most of the center console, GM usually does not get this stuff right.

Gauges, steering wheel, dash strakes, other bits need work.
