Neat..

My Jeep has only been in 5 states...Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona. Put over 140k miles on it in over 12 years.

My '87 Mustang GT, on the other hand, has been in 22 states (midwest, east, south, west to Colorado). Did a lot of road trips in it the first 10 years I had it. Has only 63k miles. (forgot Connecticut on the map, but I did drive through there on trips from Ohio to Boston).

The other cars I've had have been only in 1-2 states each. I've visited more states, but those have usually been fly-n-rent-a-car trips (Hawaii, the West Coast states, etc). The only states I've never been in are Alaska, Idaho, Montana, the Dakotas, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Mississippi.

Weird how I have missed the middle of the country in my drives. I enjoy road trips but seem to have missed driving the middle or up the east coast.

Need to plan a drive from Main to Florida some time in the future.

My truck is a homebody. It's only been to NJ once, and briefly at that. Other than that it never leaves NY.

Some of those states, like NJ, WV, and SC, have only been drive-through states on the way to my final destinations. With my current car, anyway.

That's how many of mine are...WV, NC, SC, GA were pass thrus in driving from Ohio to Florida, or IN, IA, NE when driving from Michigan to Colorado...

The vehicles I have now wouldn't make an impressive map - unless you count the Camino's ride on a transporter from Nevada to PA.

Mostly the Northwest. When I go down to Arizona and surrounding area I usually fly down and rent.

Most of the cars have not left the NYC-DC corridor in a while. The '04 GP has done the stretch from Fl to NYC... my Buick wagon has a similar run... PA/NJ to TN/AL and FL and back to NJ.

My sister's GP has been in the traveler, however. Since its purchase in NY about 3 years ago, it has criss-crossed the USA several times, using a south path, north path, central path. So it pretty much has hit everything in the lower 48 except WA, OR, ID, FL, GA, AL and New England. I'd have to ask her to be sure. Unfortunately, its now kicking out a P0742, so the trip back to NJ is likely going to be iffy.
