I don't click a lot of Jeep threads, it's not my thing. However, this is just too awesome :

I don't see nothin'

It's pretty cool..would make a neat Jeep pickup.

A very sexy beast. I'd love one. Not sure why I couldn't see it this morning.

Naw something was weird as I could not see it either so I went and Bing'd it and posted what I found. Love it :D

This is probably a Photoshop, but pretty cool..

Looks like the front fender (which looks to be plastic) opens with the door (note the seam)... which is weird, because you'd have to enter behind the tire, and that stub of fender would be in the way. Step rail/tire... grab onto bed rail?... I dunno. A 'step-friendly' rim might be the easiest way up.

Stash a folding stepladder behind the seat...

Naw just like any raised 4x4 just step on the tire and hop in! :P

I found loads of pics, but only two with the door open, and none that show any other way to get in. Lots of great action shots - the thing is cool.

Still, I like this better:

Ahh yes, the 'quick & dirty' method of concept vehicle construction : sawing a chunk right thru the sill of the body shell.

Yea; you forget there ARE people out there who aren't 6'24" like you are, friend. ;)
Tires are reportedly 40", add the distance to where the sill would be and I estimate it to be around 46" high. For reference, standard kitchen countertop height is 36-37". This baby needs some real practical thought & engineering WRT ingress/egress if Jeep ever wanted to produce it. Coupled that with (at least here in Jersey); 40" tires aren't legal in all states. Here in Jersey, I believe 38s are the top height.

Would be interesting to see this on normal sized tires. It's not anything that would make it to production, but certainly interesting as a concept.

All these posts and not one person mentioned the awesome seats? :booyah:

The seat print reminds me of a shirt I had during my flannel phase.

Yea seeing those seats makes me :puke: Sorry but I do not like the print.

Balthazar, that is what all those hot looking booth babes are for to help you into the rig when you cannot step on the tire easily like me. Shrek wins this one! :P

I do agree this is a sweet ride also and I would be happy to have it also. :D

While I too like this Jeep J-12 concept, I think they went too retro with the front. It looks like they grafted an actual Jeep Gladiator/Cherokee/Wagoneer front to the body of the Jeep Wrangler. I would have preferred to see them modernize the design a bit. I know the purpose here was to make a retro Jeep Gladiator pickup on a modern platform (Wrangler), but to me it's like putting a '55 Chevy pickup face on a 2014 Silverado. I like it but not enough to want to buy one (if produced).

By the way, here's the J-12's interior, which I think is better than the Mighty FC's retro-inspired theme:

Love 'em both for sure. See them as missed opportunities.
