My mammary has dried up on these. I knew it was at least a '78-'79 midsize Ford product, but I was thinking the milton burl wood treatment was reserved for Mercury. I was thinking Fords had normal grain wood.

I used to ride to school every morning in a then-new '79 Cougar XR-7, light green with dark green landau top and dark green vinyl bench interior. It belonged to my step-cousin. He put Cragar S/S wheels on it, wider ones in the rear, and air shocks on the rear to raise it up. That was how all the cool kids did it in 1979.

I have a question... if plood is plastic wood, what would you call the sprayed on wood-looking paint that was on the door switch panels in my 1994 Century? Underneath it was metal. Spray Wood? Sprood?
