Kearns revealed that the company is considering a model to compete with the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. "We have made a model of an affordable, two-seat, rear-wheel-drive coupe," said Kearns. Insiders at Kia have reportedly said if the company decides to go forward with this idea, it could make Kia a more ' aspirational and emotional brand.' Source: What Car? April 1, 201312 yr I will be honest in saying this is surprising but not totally as Korean brands have been more willing to take risk than Japanese brands but then the customer is driving more and more what type of auto experience they want.
