So close, and yet so far.

The truck is all that I was looking for, with a rust-free body, low-miles, and simplicity.

But, the entire front suspension and the front areas of the frame and crossmember are a nightmare of heavy, flaking rust.

The thing is so good in so many ways, but that rust of the structure would be a nightmare to correct.

No deal.
