If you think this is just some funny random old car ad, it had a serious, lasting effect on people. Baby Boomers loved the commercial and clearly bought the message. I feel we can learn much from the history of some amazing commercials and what might just be missing from getting people back into transportation. Quality is there, excitement is there, now we just need to find the right message to click for people driving again.

'75 was a restyle w/ more formal rooflines for regular 2drs and various re-namings in the following years. Mostly to the MC, some would argue, given how many styling cues the Charger SE & Cordoba took from the MC in particular. Interesting, though, a few years later, the Cordoba/Mirada took on more Thunderbird-like styling cues.
