May 12, 201312 yr It's on my shopping list for the moment. I know I want to avoid the 2.7... anything else I want to watch out for?
May 13, 201312 yr Any with blingy rims... Also high on the "steal me " list. Otherwise, nice cars....
May 13, 201312 yr Author Found a 2007 Hemi with Nav, Climate Control, and leather, 57k miles... but the $18k asking price seems too high to me. Are these cult status or something?

May 13, 201312 yr Author the v8 onces command a lot more dough. the 3.5 is not a bad idea. I could see the 6.1... but the 5.7 being that much?
May 14, 201312 yr Careful - lots of these are modded... badly. the v8 ones, the v6 ones have bling mods. huge market price diff between the v6's and v8's.......the v6's, a huge percent were fleet. Not that that is bad. We were always able to move a Magnum, once the price went low enough. The 2.7 is not entirely bad. Lacks grunt but i hear it got very good mpg. I am not sure if the 2.7 demons were gone by the time it hit the Magnum. I always wanted a 2008 (interior mods) AWD v6 magnum. the 08 had the nice new interior and the nicer front end. But it was short lived. AWD is impossible to find with v6 in good condition. It is probably easy to find a good cheap v6 RWD one. LOVE the cargo area. Tons of seating room inside. Drives very nice also. I would have wanted one with moonroof also since the interior is sort of bunker like. Edited May 14, 201312 yr by regfootball

It really sucks that they only got at most a half model year of production out of the '08's. I thought they looked soooo much better after the refresh but they killed them so quickly after they started building them that you hardly see any around. A nation wide search for 2008's nets a TOTAL of 158 listings. Edit: And only one of those listings is for an R/T. They are probably 75% SE's with the 2.7. Edited May 14, 201312 yr by 2QuickZ's
May 14, 201312 yr The Benzo 5-speed automatic can be dimwitted, but if you find a decent one, it shouldn't cause you any headaches (as long as you avoid the dog-tastic 2.7 sludge bomb). LX cars with the 3.5 or 5.7 are pretty rock solid.
