The California-only Fiat 500e has been a resounding success for the brand. So much so that according to Jason Stoicevich, president and CEO of the Fiat brand in North America says they have sold out the production run of the 500e for the remainder of the year.

“We’re pretty much sold out for the year,” said Stoicevich.

Only a bankrupt state like California would give huge tax payer rebates to make people buy an ugly overpriced golf cart. Such a waste of tax payer resources.

Fiat looses $10,000 per 500e having Chrysler absorb this cost to be compliant for selling in California.

WOW Fiat 500e is more expensive than Nissan Leaf or Ford Focus E.

Over all I see no need for these Golf Carts except for the moron politicians in California killing business.

Can't be surprised on them solding out the 500, I mean, every two of three girls would love to have one, it's kind of the all-girl-wants-car and it's not that overpriced to most of the pockets, so I guess it's normal to Fiat to be able to generate those amount of sales, I've never drived one and I personally hate them, just can't stand that strange girly shape, it's just to feminine for me, but I understand their market impact, aswell as the marketing done on them, which allowed to get the atention primarily of the feminine public.

I don't know the accurate sale stats here in Portugal but I can assure you that when they started advertising the 500, only a week or two after the initial sales point, you could literally see tons of girls driving one, it literally became the all girl car, here at least, they've now released a couple of variations that if you ask me are ugly as hell, but the original one can't seem to stop growing his % on the current market.

Meh, the only thing I really liked about Fiat are their commercials that feature those pretty italian women ha. But wow, all sold out. Interesting.

Local Fiat dealer Fiat of Kirkland http://www.fiatofkirkland.com/ has tons on the lot and are doing a end of summer blow out sale to try and get them moving. They just do not sell. 149 in stock according to the web site but across the street from them is their holding pen on a vacant lot and this morning I counted over 100 there alone. I suspect they have closer to 200+ in stock and a truck was waiting to unload more.

Fiat 500 = failure in the Pacific Northwest.

Shocking that you can get an Abarth with Scissor doors.

More shocking is this ugly little turd has a $31,600 loaded price.

There are such better cars out there for the money, why waste it on these little things.

I'm not surprised, the 500's are selling well. Even up here in Canada, which I didn't expect.
