May 10, 200619 yr Part 2 in this series of commercials is now out...lots of Pontiacs and GMCs! 2nd Commercial Full URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRzShNSYoNE More info on the commercials available on GM's fyi blog. Article Some of the headings are a bit contrived (like "NOW no route at all"), but it's good to see a different variation. And the "THEN peace... NOW love" was a bit shaky. May 10, 200619 yr thanks for posting that. i really enjoyed. its kind of reminiscent of the benz commercials they had for the s class. but i gotta say they did a trmendous job with this one. it really captures the American-ness of it all. good tune, too. swing and now bling...very nice indeed.
May 11, 200619 yr "Now: Top This" That was sweet. I must download that song...who sings it? I like the first one better but ths was good too Edited May 11, 200619 yr by Dodgefan
May 11, 200619 yr I like how every modern car in the commercial was a production car.... except the Camaro.
May 11, 200619 yr Awesome commercial, keeping the heritage in the spotlight. I like how you don't see one car for too long, so it might spark peoples interest to go online and find out what the car was that they saw. Great use of adveritising GM
May 11, 200619 yr I like how every modern car in the commercial was a production car.... except the Camaro. And the hydrogen concept car thing.
May 12, 200619 yr the music, at least the bass riff is from the song Mr. big stuff (who do you think you are?) s'all good nonetheless. Edited May 12, 200619 yr by Mr.Krinkle
May 13, 200619 yr yeah, but at least the sampling in this case makes sense. I read somewhere that the ad originally was for some in-house GM pep rally type of thing, and was so well recieved that they decided to air it. I think the first one was really well done, but the second IMHO looks a bit too cobbled together- there are parts from "Moments", "Chrome Couture", "Born From Jets", and the Guy Ritchie Corvette ad that was pulled; too many ads that we've already seen. The first ad was a lot more seamlessly done. Oh, and it may just be me, but there's nothing cool about Jeremy Piven "gettin' down" in front of that '55. I kept hoping it would back over him....
