I thought it was out of the gate, why oh why GM. The engines are tried and tested ship them now! Yup, the same sentiments many other potential buyers have about the diesel offering delay. They need to keep interest I guess (marketing tactic). To the best of my knowledge, the 2.8 Duramax Diesel engine will be available for the 2016 model year trucks, so I'd expect to see them available in mid-2015. Thanks for posting this! No problem!
