June 10, 201411 yr GM has recently added the 2015 Canyon information to the 2015 Online Order / Reference Guide: http://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NASApp/domestic/proddesc.jsp?year=2015&butID=1®ionID=1&divisionID=2&vehicleID=15927&type=0
June 10, 201411 yr The fact that Emerald green is available makes me think I could see a truck in my future.

June 11, 201411 yr Author The fact that Emerald green is available makes me think I could see a truck in my future. That is the color I was most interested in seeing when the truck was unveiled and the color pallete was shown. I was lucky that the first 2015 Canyon I saw, at the Philadelphia Auto Show early-February, was in the Emerald Green Metallic: I've also seen this color in person on the 2014 Silverado, a late availablity, extra cost color, and verified it's likely to be the color I choose for my next new truck (Canyon):
July 7, 201411 yr Uh that is for the 2016 model year. I thought it was out of the gate, why oh why GM. The engines are tried and tested ship them now! While it may be legal in other countries it still needs to pass the testing for this model in this country. The new Fed Regs are not easy nor cheap to do anymore. They may have off set it for the budget too. I got to play with the Colorado Friday. I did not get to drive it but I got to touch and sit in one. It is a major improvement over the last model. It no longer feels cheap. I did note they had a Bose Sound System too.
August 4, 201411 yr Author I feel so much like Charlie Brown, waiting for GM/GMC to release final ordering, pricing and fuel efficiency information on the 2015 Canyon!! The Canyon was shown in January at the NAIAS (Colorado shown earlier, November, at LAIAS). Very little information has been released to the public and I'm getting anxious. The wait is killing me!! And it sucks tha Ford has released pricing and a 'build your own' feature for the 2015 F150... Edited August 4, 201411 yr by GMTruckGuy74
August 4, 201411 yr I really like the GMC far better over the Chevy. I agree I wish they had the final details up and going. Not sure what is taking so long. Get that truck here now.
August 5, 201411 yr So they're about $8k cheaper than a fullsize... and as often as they throw a "sale to end all sales" on the big trucks, I'm afraid that is not enough of a difference. We were promised "affordable", they are more expensive, to start, than a Tacoma, and just a smidge cheaper than a Frontier. Has a full price chart been published for public consumption?
