I don't know about you, but this summer blasted by me like a ZR1.  :(

Post your interesting and unusual vehicle spots right here, and enjoy what we have left of summer!

Today I saw:

A red Volkswagen Type III fastback

A worn white '63 Plymouth

A tan Chevy Astro that had been awkwardly chopped into a pickup (5th wheel hauler maybe?) with a guy riding in a rear facing bench seat in the bed.

I saw what I believe to be a 54 Ford Sedan Delivery.

Just saw a 76 Old Station wagon. 3rd seat facing rearward. Brought so many memories of me growing up in that backwards facing seat and waiting for dad to let me out. LOL Fun Road Trips.

'71 Mustang Mach 1, that period Ford pea soup green w/ black stripes, restored.

'71 Mercedes SL, med blue, restored, at auction.

'70 Road Runner convertible, dark green, restored, rollin'.

'69 Camaro SS hardtop, dark green, restored, rollin'.

'68 Corvette convert, Marina Blue, restored, rollin'.

'66 Mustang convert, light blue, restored, rollin behind the RR.

'65 Mustang hardtop, primer, rough project but a running 289 car.

'59 Mercedes SL, red, partially restored, running, at auction.

'57 Bel Air 2-dr hardtop, black, connie kit, perfect original.

'55 Bel Air 2-dr sedan, white over orange, mild street rod, rollin'.

'38 Ford roadster, mild custom, slammed, eggplant, very sharp, rollin'.

'41 Merc coupe, green, solid runner, needed restoration, off road since 1975, at auction.

I was there hoping to bid, but they started at my ceiling price and it finished off at $5700.

Maybe next time.

Mk IV GTI VR6 with a vinyl "CHECK ENGINE" icon decal on the back glass.  What is this I don't

I saw 2 different Tesla Model S this weekend, one had the P85+ upgrade.

Saw a '15 Escalade on the street for the first time a few days ago...has a lot of presence, very striking...

Saw this little Jeep Renegade on the way into work this morning.  I thought it was only going to be available in Europe, but now I'm hearing that it might be coming to the states.

Great spot, wskikevin.  It does look a little pathetic in that shot, oh my.  Has anyone else seen one, maybe at an auto show?

Grabber Orange small bumper Maverick with all chrome blacked out, sounding healthy on the four-lane highway.

Holden Monaro / GTO- had the GTO hood but the Holden grille/bumper.

'55 Bel Air pillar coupe with painted bumpers

Blue '68-'69 Dodge Coronet convertible

Blue '65 Plymouth Valiant convertible

Basketcase '58 Nash Met on sale for $2500 (tempting)

Red Avanti awaiting restoration at a garage

'68-72 GMC RC/LB, orange, refurbished, sitting pretty in the movie parking lot.

Sorry it's taken me a while to reply, ocnblu.  From the 2014 NYIAS in April:

I like that blue-gray color.

'71 Plymouth 'cuda, lime green, resplendent, rollin', then, about a quarter mile behind it on the same road;

'69 Dodge Charger R/T, lime green, resplendent, aftermarket rims.

Saw a dark red '15 Genesis sedan on the street this morning, very sharp.  Saw a black new generation GMC Sierra 4x4 (lifted on big tires) with a custom black mesh grille and a large 'HEMI' emblem in the center of the grille.  WTF?

I like that blue-gray color.

Me too, it's called "Anvil".  Thanks for posting, GMTG.  I guess wskikevin's sweet spot on the highway is a base model, looks like it has 13" rims.

On a 2-car trailer going down the highway:

1st gen Corvair convert, black over yellow, very clean, and

'60 Eldorado Seville hardtop, pale icy green, very nice shape.

Some stuff from a north Jersey car show, in reverse chronological order :

Saw Rick Dore walking around- 1st tier car builder and on the show 'Masters of the Car Hoard' or whatever it's entitled.

Saw a flyer with this car pictured on it:

BlackPearl800.jpg

… Dore built it for James Hetfield, tho this car wasn't there.

Saw an eclectic mix today...white CTS-v coupe w/ black wheels, a very clean blue & silver early (85?) Chevy Sprint (before the Geo version)--haven't seen one of those in years, amazing to see a 30 yr old econobox that clean...  saw a pale green early '00s vintage Vauxhall Corsa 5dr (what is that doing in AZ???), and a very clean pale yellow '75-76 Caddy Sedan de Ville,  and a black 2nd gen 6dr Escalade..

It was a Suzuki cultus

Hope the gas tank does not get spider webs other wise ugly recall. LOL

Just saw a Donked 1986 Monte Carlo. Why oh Why do they do this, it just makes no sense to me.

This brand new silver Volvo wagon was on my street last week. Perfect setup, color, wheels and even the rack (regardless if used or not).

Volvo does some things very right, and this is one of them. Would be a perfect daily entertaining practical car...though would prefer a different brand, and better resale, etc.

Such a cool package.

Was in Lancaster, PA yesterday and saw numerous cool vehicles (there was an evening car show I couldn't get to but passed many cool cars & trucks on their way to the show - '56 Ford Crown Vic, '32 Ford Hotrod, '41 and '72 Chevy Pickups, and more).  On the PA Turnpike in the morning in the opposite direction was a car hauler with an unrestored '57 Chevy 3100 stepside pickup on the way to its new owner.  Went to dinner at Miller's Smorgasbord and in the parking lot was an awesome condition '92 Cadillac Brougham in Blue Chip Metallic (briefly spoke with the owner):

Beautiful Brougham.

Visiting my family in Ohio this weekend. On my way here Friday evening, I saw:

Gray '13 Mustang with the vanity plate "CTHULHU"

Brown Triumph TR7

What looked like a very old slingshot dragster or something with a similar layout, yep out on the open road

Today we had lunch at the Quaker Steak & Lube that was recently built in the area. Inside they had a white/pink/gray Packard Caribbean convertible up on a lift stand, and a race modified C3 outside.
