May 2, 200619 yr not mentioned in the article is the fact that the Cutlass Supreme coupe and convertible also used a transverse, composet leaf spring.
May 2, 200619 yr *sigh* I just signed over the title for my 1994 Cutlass Supreme convertible to my brother. *sniffles* I know he'll take great care of it. *mourns*
May 3, 200619 yr wikipedia {snorts} Who wrote that article- a 9-yr old?? >>"Engineers like to stick with what they know. Lots of suspension engineers are familiar with using coil springs. They could experiment with leaves if they wanted or they could stick with coils and get the job done. See the point about undertaking a research project."<<
