It's not my ideal, but it would end up being a screaming deal for me.  It stickers at $41,7xx

With GM Supplier Discount that I'm eligible for, it would be $38580

It is still technically "new" but it has 3,000 demo miles on the clock, so they would knock another $1,000 off of that.

There is currently $4,500 in rebates also plus I could get 60 months at 0% interest.

So I'm looking at $33k for a truck with a ticker of $41,7xx

It's a V6 4x4 with the big screen MyLink, cloth interior, G80

Gorgeous truck!  Dealer where I bought my '07 Sierra has a base with upgrade package shortbed, reg cab V6 4X4 stickering at $33k+, mirror tag sale priced at $29.2k, in that Iridium color.  But I cannot do it right now.

Moral of the story... buy it, Drew!  You'll never get a deal this good again.

I don't mind the V6. It has the same horsepower and torque my V8 Avalanche from 10 years ago had, which was enough for me. Since I'll be using this for road trips from time to time, I'll appreciate the better fuel economy.

Not bad. The V6 is decent other than the transmission that does not like to shift. I had a loaner Silverado with a V-6 and it got me 23 mpg avg. for its 250 mile stay with me.

That's very good mileage, shiny coke cans across town be damned.  There have been a couple of tests of the 2.7L Ecoboost in the new Ford... 16.5, 16.7 MPG in real world.  Question... what did they accomplish?  GM trucks are, as ever, overall the best.

You sure you get the $4,500 rebate plus the 0% for 60 months? Two Saturdays ago I was at my GMC test driving a leftover 2014 Sierra 1500 SLT Double Cab Z71 4WD and was told $4,500 rebate ($2,000 + $2,500 rebates) or $2,000 rebate + 0% at 60 months.

You are correct. He corrected himself later, but found more rebates also. I qualify for 1.9% through a credit union and Ally bank said they might be able to match it if my credit rating is what I say it is. (it is, I run in the 790 - 805 range consistently)
