December 2, 201411 yr Volvo Announces November Sales ROCKLEIGH, N.J. (Dec. 2, 2014) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 3,623 units for the month of November. Year-to-date sales are down 8.7 percent versus the first eleven months of 2013. The top seller for November was the XC60 crossover with 1,643 units sold, an increase of 9.5 percent versus November 2013. The S60 finished the month in second place with 1,017 units sold. Recently revealed to much acclaim, the all-new XC90 will begin production at the end of January 2015. With world-leading safety features, an unrivalled combination of power and fuel efficiency, including the world’s first seven-seat plug-in hybrid, and a striking design, it will signal a new era of success for Volvo Cars.
December 3, 201411 yr I'm still rooting for you Volvo! It's not looking good for you, though. Hopefully the refreshed SUV's will help turn it around for you.
December 3, 201411 yr With China owning them they will stick around for a while, but they could of easily become a foot note in auto history. Eventually even with auto companies in China, we will still see another round of merges and deaths. There are still way to much manufacturing space on building auto's and too many companies. Be interesting to see who survives.
