My main worry would be their safety. Then there's the issue of reliability. Do any Chinese companies really have the know-how to produce safe reliable cars? I've see they also like to produce a lot of clones... a bunch of cars that are very clearly a copy of some European or American car.

Nope, They have way too many strings attached. Keep my money in the Good O'L USA.

Depends.  If it is a Chinese built Volvo, then yes, I would consider it. I would trust such a car that is designed by Volvo and who's production is supervised by Volvo.

 

A car that is designed and built by a relatively inexperienced chinese company, no I would not. 

 

My car, a Buick Encore, is a German designed, Korean Built, American branded vehicle and I love it, clearly I'm okay with something along those lines. 

No way. I stick with European here in Europe. In the future I can see more production shifting over there.

Hell no!

At this time and date, no, I have yet to find anything of durable value. Heck, even 90's GM stuff is better than today's Chinese.

If it's a Buick, then why not.  If it's something of Yugo quality, then heck no!  It's highly likely that one's furnishings were designed in the U.S. but built overseas in Asia, and of materials sourced in Asia.  Some of these furnishings have turned out to be o.k. 

Market dynamics in ALL sorts of markets have shifted so much in the last two decades.  It's mind boggling.

 To be honest no. I have heard too many bad reviews about them.
