French cars in the USA

How popular are French cars in the US?

Here in Europe they are pretty common despite looking pretty strange and different to all other cars on the market.

The only time we ever see one in the US is when a random older Peugeot wanders down from Canada.  I personally like the Citroens, but I see them as I travel to Europe regularly and I believe I'm in the minority around here

You find the rare bird from Canada, but for the most part, their style is not in with American tastes. They can keep it along with the ugly toothpick thin models and a variety of other over rated french things. Probably why Fiat barely sell on the west coast, if it is not american, then asian. Europe not so much cared for by people here except for the overrate German auto's of BMW and MB badge snobs.

LOL :P

Interesting to hear about these cars in the US. Over here in the UK, they are pretty damn popular and all over the place. They are cheaper than the average Vauxhall and all German cars so that explains their popularity I guess.

Citroens are the nicer of the French cars in my opinion. Their ride is pretty good and they aren't that bad looking.
