Hummer H3 original concept alternate

Featured Replies

Was searching Google this past weekend for some Canyon information and stumbled upon this site: http://www.slideshare.net/mobile/JonAlbert1/veh-des-portfolio-v3

In the shared slide show presentation, one of the designers of the 2004 Canyon/Colorado shared some design history of that generation of the smaller pickups. He also worked on the Hummer H3 program which included these original designs for the H3.

Warning: if you're not a fan of the Aztek, you may be disturbed by the picture shared here and more on that site

I'm glad they ended up with the design that was produced! This Aztek-inspired look, IMO, would not have been as admired. Check out the link above for more information.

Nah, you're not alone.  I was a fan of the Hummer by GM.  Still wish it was a derivative of the GMC lineup, but that's water under the bridge now.

What Hummer got right:

GMC needs to build the Hx NOW as a special package for GMC. This would give the Wrangler a solid competition and many myself included would love it with the Baby 2.9L duramax diesel.
