One of my favorite topics over onto the YouTube is... tiny house tours.  Some of those "shed to house" vids are really good.  I would need open space around me though.

The Tiny House Nation trailer-based 'houses' are ridiculous. At least get a 40-ft trailer and a 3500 dually… but wait; that's still ridiculous. 'My kitchen sink is the bathroom sink- how cool!'

You've heard of 'one of 2' or even 'one of none' with regards to a
particular vehicle combination. How about '270 of none'

[Dark Fate trailer] : so far, I'm not feeling it. And seeing Linda Hamilton looking 70 -not that she was a great classical beauty in T1- isn't helping.

I actually am, this is a hand off to a new generation.

A.I / M.L. is a reality, for those not accustomed to the acronym, Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning.

I am working on a project right now, it is real and will be coming to technology near you soon.

I am excited by the new robots and the final hand off from both Linda and Arnold to a new young cast. Having Cameron doing the movie, should be great.

I don't like bump steer and I don't like tramming.  Makes the vehicle feel like it is not under control.

That movie series definitely jumped the shark. Nothing worth watching again after T2, which was a great flick.

I recommend self checkout for that one. The cashiers there will try to put that in a plastic bag and you’re just going to rip the handles grabbing it.

Sadly, when the Fiero died in '88, Pontiac's reason for existence was slowly asphyxiated.  We all know what happened in the next three decades.

My kinda car.  Only the CT6 and the K900 (oddly) get this kind of image of presence in my eyes in modern cars.

Not seeing what you're seeing there, DD.

I"m not saying they have the same presence as the '72... only that they have the best you'll get in 2019.

This just confirms that how an auto rides, drives and the overall layout inside of how a person interacts with an auto can be positive or negative. One persons like of how it drives on the road is another's person negative. At least we get to arm chair quarterback and debate these in a civil manner. :) Thanks for the post!

I will agree with you that both of these cars have that same presence!

I like the CT6 a lot- it has very nice presence. Kia’s not even in the same parking lot. It’s very generic IMO.

*shrug* I think the K900 commands attention when seen in the steel.

G80 seems to have the same presence:

G90 2020 sure has a presence

WOW, they also have a G90 Special Edition that sure has presence!

^ rims remind me of the 1990s BMWs with BBSs.
It'd be nice (and shocking) to finally see something totally stirring & aspirational, design-wise, but that seems relegated to concepts only.

A subtle flush one.  That modern one doesn't work.  The car needs to have a more fuselage style and can't have the flat face wheel opening.

It is usually fun to see non-production concept cars in commercials.'cause the only electric VW builds now is in the same body shape they've been producing since -IIRC- 1977.

BUT VW really should 'batten down all it's hatches' before this sort of thing -if it became regular- mars the EV push :

That pic of an E-body assembly line made me wonder—on an assembly line of multiple models, did the wrong interior ever get installed in a car (like an Eldorado interior in a Toronado).

I strongly doubt it.

Worst assembly mistake I ever saw (and really the only significant one) was a Buick Skylark X-Body car. This would have probably been in the late '80s.  No one carried cameras back in those days, so I have no evidence, but can still picture it in my mind, burgundy color, a buddy & I circled the car & laughed at it. The defect?

It had 2 doors on one side and 1 on the other, and damn if it didn't look totally factory. In hindsight, I would proclaim that to be impossible… but if the body side was stamped as a whole piece and the shell welded together- technically it might be possible…but even if welded up that way- how the hell did it get past the plant gate?

Funny. I LOL at posters who continually troll threads about cars or subjects they claim to have no interest in yet can’t stop going to even when they say that they are done with it.

Oh the irony.
