The historic May was led by strong performances from the Optima midsize sedan and Soul urban passenger vehicle, as well as increased demand for the Sorento and Sportage crossovers. As part of the "Summer's On Us" sales event, which began in May, sales of the Sedona minivan reached new heights since being completely redesigned for the 2015 model year, and the family of Forte compacts recorded its best-ever monthly sales total.
