June 2, 201510 yr Mazda Reports Second-Best May Since 1996 IRVINE, Calif., June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported May U.S. sales of 29,606 vehicles, representing a decrease of 0.4 percent versus last year. Through May, Mazda has sold 131,773 vehicles year-to-date. Key May 2015 sales notes: Mazda's outstanding sixth-generation vehicles (Mazda3, Mazda6, CX-5) have combined YTD sales up 8.16 percent and for the month of May are up 4.64 percent YOY. Mazda CX-5, in its fourth year of sales, continues to set records. CX-5 had its best May ever in 2015 with 10,717 vehicles sold, an increase of 15.3 percent (9,291 vehicles in May 2014). Mazda6 had its best month of May sales since 2006 with 5,580 vehicles sold, an increase of 2.2 percent year-over-year (YOY) (5,461 vehicles sold in May 2014). Mazda CX-9 had a strong May for 2015 with 1,924 vehicles sold, an increase of 20.1 percent YOY (1,602 vehicles in May 2014). As the company's sixth-generation of vehicle sales grow so does SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY. Mazda's no-compromise solution to driving performance and fuel efficiency has proven to be an affordable and beneficial solution for consumers. In May 2015, 90.0 percent of Mazdas sold were equipped with SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY. Mazda reported Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) May sales of 3,670 vehicles, up 0.2 percent YOY.
June 16, 201510 yr The 3, 6, and CX-5 are staying even. Good for the bread and butter cars. The new Miatas are on the ships right now from Hiroshima. They should hit dealers next month.
