June 10, 201510 yr * I never had 1 of these Tonka Winnebagos as a kid but know a few who did. How about you: have or still have 1 of these? http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/08/monday-night-fun-21/ Perfect sign for a tire shop, but think I would rather invite people to a party, not a flat tire! http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/08/daily-dose-mon-madness-21/ Cort www.oldcarsstronghearts.com 1979 & 1989 Caprice Classics | pigValve, paceMaker, cowValve "All that it takes is some time" __ OAR __ 'Shattered'
June 11, 201510 yr I never owned or even played with a Tonka toy. It was all Hot Wheels and Match Box cars for me.
June 11, 201510 yr Had a ton of Tonkas as a child, small, medium and large sized, but never the Winnebago. Friends of mine did and I played with theirs. I look at them from time to time at toy shows, haven't caught the desire to buy one though.
June 12, 201510 yr Author I never owned or even played with a Tonka toy. It was all Hot Wheels and Match Box cars for me. Interesting. My childhood was similar, mostly HW & MB ... but, I did have some Tonka trucks ... including an orange dump truck which my Nephew plays with now. Had a ton of Tonkas as a child, small, medium and large sized, but never the Winnebago. Friends of mine did and I played with theirs. I look at them from time to time at toy shows, haven't caught the desire to buy one though. Same here ... friends had 1 that I oh-so-wished I had. The toy shows & model shows I've been to in the last few years haven't had 1, but I would like to obtain 1 at some point. I do remember hating sand, dirt and mud when I was young...maybe that has something to do with my parents not buying me Tonka Trucks. Come to think of it...I had many types of boats that I played with also....maybe the boats replaced the Tonka Trucks for me...

I hated dirt & mud (still do), tho I don't mind sand. Never used the dump truck in the sandbox, tho ... heck, I don't even really remember ever taking it outside, but ... I'm sure I did. Anyway, it was reminiscing about childhood toys that led me to create the "Monday Night Fun" theme ... to celebrate those toys of childhood. June 15, 201510 yr It's a Tonka Mighty, so pretty big scale. Similar in size to the Mighty Tonka Dump but on a longer chassis. Edited June 15, 201510 yr by GMTruckGuy74
