Are you interested in the following:

1. Automotive industry Financials - like stock performance, manufacturers financial health

2. Personal automotive finance - financing, leasing, insurance, prepaid service plans, etc

Both sounds good, I for one am more interested in #1 over #2. 

I can find lots of #1 already. I'd like to see more #2, especially if there's themes along the lines of:

 

- Carsharing - incorporating it in one's life, costs/benefits/(reviews?), and even sharing one's personal vehicle with other people. 

- Using services such as Uber and Lyft to offset car ownership costs.

Those are great ideas that might even be their own third category.

What about front page stock tickers for the publicly traded ones?

Awesome! I'd be interested to read more on car-sharing. It's a big deal nowadays and I feel traditional auto publications ignore it. (at their peril)

RE: stock symbols - That sounds like more 'stuff' that just ends up cluttering the page. It might be okay on desktops, but I'd imagine the already so-so mobile experience would suffer.

For me

#1 is not of an interest. I could find that kind of info anywhere else. Not that I wouldnt read about it here....I would...if fact...it probably make my automotive news that much more complete under one site...but its not something Id look for primarily.

 

#2 is more like Buzz's post...that is why I quoted him.

Id like to compare and contrast all the financials behind Uber and Lyft as compared to ownership and leasing

Also...any personal stories of people using Uber and Lyft pertaining  as how convenient  or inconvenient those services are or arent.

I'm more of a product guy, but both of those categories deserve notice, for sure.

Neither of the initial topics are of interest to me personally.
