DETROIT (AP)  The UAW has asked locals representing Delphi workers to take a strike authorization vote. Union Vice President Richard Shoemaker called for the vote in an e-mail sent to all Delphi local presidents today. It says the vote should be completed by May 14.

Agreed. An actual strike would be another story though.
