Howdy all,

Decided to upgrade my windows 7 system to windows 10. Did this for my parents also who were on windows 8.1. As their support person this gives me an easier time supporting them when we are all on the same OS version.

Issue is with Microsoft Edge browser, great HTML5 non legacy browser. This means it does not use Java or Adobe Flash and is nice and fast. Problem being is trying to post new topics via that browser fails.

The link button in the tool bar above does not work. Cut n Paste does not work, trying to post the new topic returns a site is not available and yet everything works fine via chrome and Firefox.

So wanted to find out who else has upgraded and what issues you are hitting with Edge on accessing and posting to the forum?

yeah, I'm having trouble with Edge on this forum software also.  The trouble is, it isn't being supported, so I don't know if it will be fixed until I upgrade to the next version.    At the same time, the next version is still missing some required features that prevent an upgrade.... so at the moment, people on Edge browser are kinda stuck.

You can pry Chrome from my cold, dead fingers.

I've been having issues with Chrome getting very laggy and processor intensive lately.

I haven't noticed any performance issues, but my laptop is bad to the bone. I'm going to be super pissed if Edge doesn't conform to HTML standards when I'm doing web design.

Not having any issues with Edge. Loving it. Of course I haven't tried to post a new article yet either

Supposedly all the documents I have read is that Edge is a true HTML5 only browser. Sadly as I suspected, the forum software is not fully HTML5 compliant just as most web sites are not yet. This is one time where MSFT seems to be clearly ahead of everyone else right now.
