November 26, 20205 yr Just like the picture... Focus RS action! I love midsize trucks and hot ahtches, this Tacoma looks great lifted.... Speaking of hot hatches... I love the new Supra, probably one fo the few that do. I do think it is a bit over rated...nice but not amazing.
November 26, 20205 yr Toyota! I really like the brighter Golds car makers are bringing out on sedans... Love this dashboard... M3 and a Dog! Love this Audi picture...
November 26, 20205 yr More of that olds... one for "Blu... I really like this color on the GLI.Tthis was a close runner up when I bought the Ranger. Just like the photograph, moving right along...
November 26, 20205 yr Again, I really like the Gold... Love this picture... Still a huge Maita fan... Love all 4 cars, actually, and the photograph.

December 10, 20205 yr If this was verbally described to me, I think I would say it would be horrific. But... I like this, and for the life of me I couldn't explain why.

IIRC...I posted a 65 C20 in the Random thought thread...I like that look.
December 10, 20205 yr Author Love the (could it be candy apple?) red paint job on that pick-up. I could tolerate the cream bumpers and grille and the cream coloured wheels. I HATE the style of wheels though spoiling the whole look of the pick-up for me. The wheels make it look too much of a toy for me. About the all white '55: LOVE the all white motif. I dont mind the white wheels. But again, the style chosen ruins it for me negating everything that I love about it. Had the Chevy was wearin' big white wall tires on 15 inch Cragar SS-es, I would have lusted over it.
December 22, 20205 yr Author All 1966 Oldsmobiles. I like 1966 for cars. Some beautiful machines came out from the Detroit Michigan area in 1966
December 25, 20205 yr Author Dressed up like a million dollar troopah. Tryin' hard to look like Gary Coopah. (supah dupah)

R33 and R34 are the best looking. Beautiful cars..I love the R32 also... the R34 looks great in M-Spec NUR GT-R trim in green-gold. I also like the early 70s KPGC110 'Kenmeri' generation of Skyline GT-R.

December 27, 20205 yr Love the early Cougars..grew up around them, my Dad had a '67 (289) and a '68 (302), my brother a '68 XR-7 (390).
December 31, 20205 yr Author Dream Car Garage 1994 for me as it were back in the day. In order of want starting at the top
December 31, 20205 yr I see the skyline has always been a generic turd of a design. '60s-70s Japan had no styling mojo at all. It may perform OK, but it sure falls far short of the "beautiful" moniker. Extremely similar / likewise bland, uninspired and generic Hillman Avenger / Plymouth Cricket : We can do better! January 1, 20215 yr Author Maybe you'll think Im crazy, but besides the wedge shape and the Countach being lower to the ground, the Countach, seems to me at least, to be taking some took cues from a Charger. The side stylings and certain lines of the Lambo are more pronounced and more dramatic, but I could see a slight influence there. I came to this conclusion when I saw a video from a stupid (young...in his 20s) youtuber claiming to never see your idols in person. (He was referencing human idols such as a popstar of some sort or athlete to a car). In this case, he was disappointed with the Countach because as he stated, he was expecting to see a car with lots of curves and all he saw was just a weird shaped with lots of straight lines and not one hint of a curve anywhere on the car. Well...he is right about that. That the Lambo has no swoopy curves. Its all wedges. But you dont need to see that in person. You could see that from a photograph. I started analyzing the design language of the Lambo when I realized how similar the lines are to the Charger. Its only perception tho. I could be waaaay off. (I dont think so...) January 1, 20215 yr I’m gonna agree to disagree overall, tho I can see what you’re saying. Original countach: Pros : • got the ‘hood’ and windshield in one plane for the 1st time • NACA scoop in the side is cool Cons: • everything else, starting with the schizophrenic wheelwell openings. - - - - - ‘69 Charger is just about stylistically ideal. So much continuity & flow & aggression. Not a bad detail anywhere. Edited January 1, 20215 yr by balthazar
January 7, 20215 yr Popular Post IMO, the Virgil Exner-overseen design of the '56 DeSoto face is comparable to ANY 'best' design out there of ANY era (especially the modern one) - it is so utterly tailored & refined but still has that aggressive edge to it.
January 7, 20215 yr Of the Forward-Look Mopars, I like the '57 styling the best, esp. the '57 Chrysler Windsor and 300C..I prefer the quad headlight fronts, the dual headlights looked weak.

January 26, 20215 yr Well.... certainly ‘higher income’ (not necessarily ‘higher education’; there’s youtube flakes making millions off of nothingness).
