There was a 4dr one also as you posted, and an earlier version with a more rounded roofline below (I've seen two of these earlier 2drs, never seen a 4dr or the later 2dr...it's the earlier 2dr in the pic w/ the Cougar billboard. I saw a silver 2dr and a white one at a Gooding & Co auction in Scottsdale maybe 5-7 years ago.. Edited February 22, 20215 yr by Robert Hall
February 25, 20215 yr Popular Post Speaking of Cougars w/ Coyotes, found this today--Ring Brothers custom...that Coyote V8 is stuffed in there, looks like they reworked the inner fenders and front suspension (the original shock towers long gone). Love the color combo, very tasteful resto-mod, IMO. https://www.autoblog.com/2021/02/25/ringbrothers-mercury-cougar-restomod/#slide-2298758
February 26, 20215 yr FFA day at a friend's school, he is the principal.... This might honestly be the favorite thing I have seen on C and G in my 14 years here. Amazing. One more FFA pic... Okay I lied, love the CASE!
February 26, 20215 yr @A Horse With No Name Sorry my friend, but for those of us that have never lived in the midwest, what is FFA? ? Maybe this is a farm thing so those of us that never grew up on a large farm would not know this. FFA = ????

February 26, 20215 yr ^ 1971 Corvette C3 ^ Musta been a battery-electric conversion with broadcast engine sounds; internal combustion cars aren't that quick.

Thank you for the info, that is great that there is a group promoting farming to our youth. A noble job I think. I have a hard time believing that Corvette is Factory. Cool at how fast it is, but sounds like a much faster, newer engine in it. Wicked fun runs!

March 4, 20215 yr IMO, Pontiac's full-sizers were on the downside of their peak after '66, tho there are still ones I definitely like. Like this '68 Catalina; it really makes the painted bumpers work here:
